Reflections on Service, Gratitude & Community

My firm belief is that behind the success of any individual, society's contribution is greater than one's own efforts. Therefore, after retirement, if a person has no family obligations, they should repay their debt to society by working for its betterment based on their experience.

Far from my hometown, in the diverse environment of Pune, alongside my professional activities, whatever small or big name I have earned over the past 28 years in social and religious work, the credit goes to the values instilled through service, the blessings of well-wishers, my family - my life partner Shrimati Hemlata's 50 years of companionship (since 24 Nov, 1968), and the support of all organisations.

With warm regards and respect, Dr. Prakash Jain Barjatia, Pune

Words to Live By

Make yourself such — that wherever you are, everyone loves you; wherever you leave, everyone remembers you; and wherever you are headed, everyone awaits you.
